One of the fastest ways to raise your creativity is to learn to admire your own work. (We're not just talking about painting.)
Criticism tends to shut us down. It looks for flaws, faults, and reasons we "aren't good enough."
But critique is different. Critique is constructive-it asks, What's working? What could be stronger? What excites me here?
When you start by admiring what's already beautiful in your work-whether it's a bold stroke, a color choice, or simply the fact that you showed up to create-you open the door for more.
Admiration fuels creativity. Critique sharpens it. Criticism kills it.
This week, when you look at what you've made, pause and ask: What can I admire here?
